“We approached the match in the right way, quickly achieving the two sets we needed – said Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match – The qualification to the round of sixteen will allow us to think now about the match versus Ravenna and the Final Four of Coppa Italia with more confidence, even if this evening we showed some deficiency that we keep having. The match gave me the opportunity to line up some players who haven't had lots of space during the last period and the answer has been positive at all. I'm happy because in such a long season everyone is needed.”
The path of Diatec Trentino will continue in the round of sixteen versus Sastamala; the first match will be played in early February (probably on Wednesday 1st – date to be confirmed) in Finland and the return match will be played at PalaTrento two weeks later.
Starting from Thursday afternoon the team will focus again on SuperLega Unipolsai 2016/17: another home match is scheduled for Saturday January 21st (20th day of regular season – live coverage on Radio Dolomiti and Lega Volley Channel).
